After I had finished recording the North Carolina Comedy Festival, I drove to the mountains near Asheville for some hiking and to explore some waterfalls. After a quick google search of trailheads in the area, Catawba Falls caught my attention so I decided to drive there. It was very easy to access the parking lot and there were a moderate amount of people hiking that day. The trail itself wasn’t too challenging and it did have beautiful views along the river. It was humid and somewhat hot the day I went so keep hydrated, rest in the shade when needed, and enjoy 2-3 hours frolicking through the forest.
